My name is Jenny and I trained at the Park School of Beauty Therapy in Retford, qualifying in 1986.

I have since enjoyed an extremely varied career in Beauty Therapy, initially working at a small spa in Derbyshire, before moving onto Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest when it first opened. Both of these employments taught me an awful lot about the quality of treatment and customer care that every single client should enjoy.

I then progressed onto being the manager of the newly opened spa at Breadsall Priory, where I stayed for many years. During this time I started having a family which has now concluded with 3 gorgeous boys!!

After leaving Breadsall Priory, I started a full time career in teaching at West Notts College. I wanted to pass my passion and enthusiasm for the beauty industry onto a new generation, and throughout my entire career, I have continued to take further courses and to train to ensure my skills remain current and effective.

In June 2000, Alexsa Beauty and Holistic Studio was born. This had always been a dream to own my own salon and I have had many happy years (so far!) doing a job I love every day. I now specialise in Elemis Biotec Facials, Dermalogica customised facials, Elemis touch facials and Advanced Thermology Treatments for the removal of skin blemishes.
